Domaine Drouhin-Laroze was established in 1850 in Gevrey-Chmbertin. The sixth generation is currently at the helm with Nicolas and Caroline working alongside their father Philippe Drouhin to manage a portfolio that includes the Grand Crus Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Latricières-Chambertin and Chapelle-Chambertin as well as Musigny, Clos de Vougeot and Bonnes Mares. This is in addition to holdings in the Premier Crus of Lavaut St-Jacques, Clos-Prieur, Au Closeau and Craipillot, as well as the Village appellations of Chambolle Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin.
This 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin '10 Climats' is an excellent, very complete Gevrey village blend sourced from 10 different parcels (10 Climats).
Floral, expressive with flavours of cherries and plum with burst of minerality. Very supple and bright, this is a beautiful Pinot. 25% whole-bunch fermentation, ageing in 30% new oak.
